Decoration & Lights Competition
🎅Who / Where 🤶 Morning Sun Hometown Pride (HTP) will be hosting a friendly competition to showcase residential, organization, and business holiday lighting and decorations in and around Morning Sun, Iowa. 🌟When 🌟 If you would like your holiday lights to be considered in the competition, please notify the event organizers no later than Monday, 27 November 2023.

🗺️Why is such an early notification requested? 🗺️
HTP needs the addresses early to create physical maps, which will be handed out during the "Hometown for the Holidays" event on December 2nd for citizens to vote for their favorite displays as part of the "People's Choice" category. Lights/decorations do not need to be up or operating by 27 November (this date is to reserve your spot on the map) but should be up and operating by the evening of December 2nd for consideration in the "People's Choice" award.
Additionally, an electronic map on Google Maps will be provided as soon as all entries are received; the link will be shared and posted here.

* Reason for the Season (best nativity display)
* The Inflatables (most inflatables per square foot)
* The Minimalist (simple & clean light display)
* The Griswold (sparing no expense for holiday spirit!)
* The Disco Fever (best projection lights and/or music)
